Passive Base Readout

A passive SiPM base system typically consists of the following components, available separately

• Passive SiPM base

• Passive Base Amplifier

  Connected to the Passive Base by a short ribbon cable

  Models: PBA116, PBA216

• Amplifier Board Power Supply

  Models: ABPS, ABPS-1A

Advantages

• Low-cost Passive Base, low-cost customization

• Amplifiers and Passive Base can be changed independently

• Passive Base can be placed independently of the amplifier board, limited by the ribbon cable length

• SiPM array is not affected by amplifier heating
